Paula began her service for ELCA Global Mission in September 2006 in
Johannesburg, South Africa for the Lutheran Communion of Southern Africa’s HIV and AIDS Programme.
Prior to accepting her assignment with LUCSA, she worked for the
Weld County’s Community Center Board as the Early Intervention Coordinator
for children with special needs and their families for nearly 20 years.

Paula earned her bachelors degree at Bethany Lutheran College in Lindsborg, Kansas
and her master’s degree in vocational rehabilitation counseling from San Diego State University.
Paula has been active as representative of Immanuel Lutheran Church for Greeley Interfaith,
active on the social concerns committee and as a board member for UNC Campus Ministry.
Paula has one son, Justin, who is married to Pyper and she is “Nanna” to a wonderful 4 year old granddaughter.
Her permanent home is in Greeley, Colorado.
