“Together in Faith” is… a time for parents and children, from age three to grade five, to share
the Sunday School Hour two or three times a year.

“Together in Faith” is…a milestone program that connects families around the basics of Faith:
Bible, Prayer, and Worship.
It builds each year to nurture living, growing faith in our children.

“Together in Faith” is… a unique program that engages parents and children in
memory-making play and life-long traditions.

“Together in Faith” is…an experience that draws parents and children close to each other in their faith
and encourages them to make time for faith activities at home.

“Together in Faith” is…a time to prepare children for leadership roles in worship that
correspond with their current learning and skills.

“Together in Faith” blends Bible stories, games, theme-related activities, and parent-child conversations
creating fast-paced, active lessons that are as enjoyable for adults as they are for children.

“Together in Faith” covers different topics for different age levels:
3-Year-Olds and Parents: Praying Together
4-Year-Olds and Parents: The Keys – Saying You’re Sorry and Forgiving Others
Kindergarten and Parents: The Lord’s Prayer
First Graders and Parents: The Ten Commandments
Second Graders and Parents: First Communion Instruction
Third Graders and Parents: Opening the Bible
Fourth Graders and Parents: The Apostle’s Creed
Fifth Graders and Parents: Kids and Money – How to be Good Stewards

Kindergartners and Parents
“The Lord’s Prayer”
December 6th & 13th

This is a  time for learning more fully the meaning of this prayer that Jesus gave us.
The kids will lead the congregation in “The Lord’s Prayer” on December 20th.

3rd Graders and Parents
“Opening the Bible”

January 10th, 17th, and 24th
This class will be a time of serious fun.  Through work and play, we’ll discover not only how to find our way around the Bible, but how to make reading the Bible a vibrant part The 3rd Graders will be reading scripture in worship on January 31st.

4-Year-Olds and Parents
“The Keys”

February 7th & 14th
These two sessions are a time for learning more fully the meaning of saying “I’m sorry” and “I forgive you.”  Jesus called these actions “The Keys of the Kingdom.”  The 4-year-olds will lead the congregation in “Sorry & Forgive Others” on  February 21st.

First Graders and Parents
“The Ten Commandments”

February 21st & 28th
This is the First graders opportunity to learn about God’s rules for us.  Together, we’ll talk about ways we’re tempte
to break God’s rules and discover how following God’s rules can make life good.  The first graders will recite the “Ten Commandments” in worship on March 7th.

Second Graders and Parents
“First Communion”

March 7th, 14th, and 21st
First communion is a milestone in the life of a child.  Whether they have already taken
communion or not, this is a chance for them to appreciate and understand more deeply the mystery of Holy Communion.

First Communion Celebration will be on Maundy Thursday, April 1st at the 7:30 pm service.

Fourth Graders and Parents
“The Apostles’ Creed”

April 18th, 25th & May 2nd
Fourth Graders have entered a new stage of competence and understanding of what they believe and they’re eager
to share their beliefs with others.  This will be a time to learn The Apostles’ Creed and to talk about what we believe.  The 4th Graders will lead the congregation in The Apostles’ Creed on May 9th.
